Improving Search Engine Rankings Through Article Marketing

I talk to a lot of website owners in the course of my work and there is one question I ask many of these people: I ask them what their goals are in using article submissions. Most of these site owners will mention at least one of the following:

A better ranking in search engine results for their primary keywords, an increase in traffic from people clicking the links in the articles and finally, building a reputation as an expert in their field.

In my opinion, the greatest reward of Article Marketing comes in terms of SEO-having a higher search engine ranking for your keyword terms.

SEO techniques are all designed to do the same thing: get more traffic to your site, especially from the people in your target market or audience. Article marketing is one of the more effective ways of getting your content to the people you want to reach.

Whenever you need information on a topic, you will go to Google or Yahoo or one of the other search engines and type your question or need into the search box. Your target customers are also Googling solutions to their needs.

If your website is part of your business, you definitely want to be as high in the list of search results as you can for the search terms your likeliest readers or customers commonly use. If you can get your site at or near the top of these results, you will see much more targeted traffic - this is traffic from people who are interested in the subject matter of your site already and as such are the most desirable visitors.

Targeted traffic means that the people who are visiting your website are most likely to be in need of what you're offering at your website. This is what you're going for. And these are the steps to rank higher in Google and the other search engines:

1 - Determine what keywords to use. Keywords are the search terms that your target audience will search for when they are looking for a website or a business such as your own.

When you know what those special words are, then you can work to position your website to satisfy those search terms. It isn't hard to figure out what your keywords are, but it does require a bit of basic research. There are many great keyword suggestion tools on the web, both paid and free. To start with you can look at the Google Keywords Tool, WordTracker Keyword Suggestion Tool, Keyword Discovery, and Overture.

2- When you write articles, keep them relevant to your site's content. You will probably use your important keywords in your articles anyway, but you might want to have a look over your articles after writing them to make sure you've used them where appropriate in your title, resource box and in the article itself.

The idea is optimize the article for your keyword terms, while doing so in a natural sounding way. Always keep your reader in mind, and write articles that will be helpful and easy to understand. Be careful not to go overboard with your keywords-keep your keyword density at 3% or lower.

3- Submit articles consistently for the lifetime of your website. This means submitting a few articles each month, month in and month out. This is perhaps the area where people most go astray-consistency is paramount.

Article marketing is a powerful method of improving page ranking which can also directly drive sales; but only if you are diligent and keep at it. The benefits of this SEO technique are cumulative, so while you won't notice a difference right away, it will happen and can be dramatic. Once you make writing and submitting articles a habit, you will soon see your site moving up in the search engine rankings.

Spam - The Wrong Way To Use An Autoresponder

In today's virtual world the spam or unwished-for messages is a genuine issue. It seems the spammers are using autoresponders to do their dirty work. This is bad for everyone who uses an autoresponder with good objectives. Their messages are often understood as spam making the owner wonder what's wrong at times. Sometimes a user may also wonder why their messages are blocked or reported as spam.

The autoresponders do their job and respond to legitimized emails indiscriminately. Spam messages are usually forged and they seem to be from a third party. If an autoresponder receives a forged message they'll send misdirected e-mails. That is how an autoresponder can become a spam source itself and its messages are blocked or reported. Many times users don't know the way to notice if this starts to happen or to handle it.

The usual autoresponder is a straightforward program designed for normal email users to inform their contacts if the user is available to answer a certain question or merely to send the preset message. These messages are sometimes sent to inaccurate people and that is how spam is born. How are you able to fix that? It's reasonably simple. Just stop using this kind of autoresponder and answer the mail yourself for the transitional period. If you're too busy to answer the emails yourself you may have to hire somebody for the present.

A big problem in the spam world is the "misdirected bounces." If a mail server takes a message and can't deliver it, it will send a bounce mail to the original sender but regularly this message will be misdirected. How can you fix that? Upgrade or configure the post server in a way to avoid this problem. You can do this by setting your software to reject the message or accept it once and for all. Do not let it make the decision of delivery for you after the software received the message.

Usually the autoresponders are sending messages to their mailing list, but without permission. The people who receive these messages consider them unsolicited and therefore spam. If you own a mail sever you should consider these changes because today's spam is a problem. Lots of mail servers have been blacklisted because of spam issues. Fortunately there are ways to prevent your autoresponder from becoming a spam tool. By doing some research on the internet you will discover new ways that are developed daily. If you really don't want to become a spammer the last option is to stop using an autoresponder, because these programs do a great job.

Spam is a huge issue when it comes to online advertising. If at any moment you are leery of what you're doing, you can always talk with a pro who can advise you in the right direction. Autoresponders were made to ease the life of busy professionals but unfortunately used for the wrong purpose can taint their good use. Do some research and always be a defensive purchaser. Know what you're purchasing before you do buy it.

Internet Business Is Good For Making Money Online Fast

About once every 2-3 years a great course is shown to the general public. One which answers a lot of the queries that I personally had once I first started marketing online many years ago.

Once I first began my online marketing career, I'd heard that affiliate advertising was the "best way to create cash on-line". I am sure that you have most likely heard that statement too!. Possibly even from me!! However, with that said, after I first started promoting on-line,I had completely no clue about the way to:
1. Make a website that I could use to market someone else's product
2. Obtain a product to market that truly converted into sales
3. Get traffic to my web site so somebody would see what I was promoting ...
and I could go on, and on.

Nowadays, I am always reading some "crap" in forums from individuals spouting off, "All you have got to perform is go to Clickbank.com and look for products with "brilliant" sales letters." And by that they mean, products that appear enticing and would be ones that you simply may buy yourself!!

Then, they say you can head over to Google Adwords and begin advertising the chosen Clickbank product.

Then you have to figure out which keywords are producing you sales and which ones are notaren't.

Then dispose of the ones that are not.

After that, you just just let your campaigns run on "auto-pilot" and you will be rich...

Ha, Ha, Ha...

Maybe you have heard that garbage as well. And maybe you've even tried it. I know I did. And, I am certain I don't have to inform you that such strategies clearly doesn't work.

Anyway, let's be honest here. Individuals ARE producing a ton of cash as affiliates solely promoting Clickbank.com products. I know this for a fact. So, how they do it is the question...

Chances are, they're either using the techniques taught in a hot course known as "The Google Sniper" system, or some type of variation of it. I know this system works. I even have many of the "auto-pilot" systems set up.

Actually, I set up a very little website as an affiliate marketer, promoting Clickbank.com products. Anyway, back to the course I'm referring to. It's called Google Sniper.

The course is VERY good and not expensive. A lot of of what is taught is what I do. And a number of which were totally new to me. Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention that the techniques taught don't even use Google Adwords! Thus, if you dislike or are not terribly good at using Google Adwords, this is excellent for you.

Ok, sorry for the long, drawn out spiel. I generally ramble a bit when I get excited regarding things I love. blah blah blah...

This course is GOOD for you if any of these sounds like:
1. You aren't very good with the idea of using Google Adwords
2. Can't seem to obtain profitable Clickbank services to promote
3. Have tried "affiliate promoting" but perhaps purely earned a few greenbacks, if any at all!
4. Get uninterested in things and jump from project to project quite mostly
5. Spend time browsing forums. Try to do stuff you read about but never seem to completely work for you.

This is perhaps a BAD fit for you if you:
1. Are already a "super affiliate" using your own techniques successfully.
Note!!
If something's working for you, then don't go chasing after another strategy. "Don't fix what ain't broken" :-)
2. Are too unmotivated to follow instructions or scan an eBook.

2. Write about topics that you are interested in. You will get excited when you talk about your interest and your excitement can be shown in your writing. Readers will be interested if you can give them first hand knowledge in your article. For example, you need to write an article about making money at home and you are really interested in this topic. Hence you can write about your successful and unsuccessful experiences. By telling the readers your real life examples, they will find your article trustful and interesting.

3. Tell your readers why you are trying to write the article. Remember to always explain yourself clearly to the readers in the first paragraph. Give your readers a guide if you want to tell them how to do certain thing. If your article is about problem-solving, inform them in the first paragraph so that they have the interest to keep reading till the end.

What you can do is provide them with useful information and present your contents in a direct way. Customers will be happy to re-visit your site because they are gaining knowledge.

6. Segment your article into different parts. You should include short sentences but not long paragraphs. In order to help your readers scan the article and summarize the information provided, it is effective to add bullet or numbered points for important information.

Your website will definitely attract more visitors once you integrate these useful tips to your articles. Moreover, search engines will be able to detect your website and help you hunt for your target readers. Just write an interesting, explicit piece of article and publish it to your own website.
