Have You Thought Of These Three Home Based Businesses?

by Sandera P Oinken

Now is a good time to think about starting your own home business. In this article I'm going to discuss three you might find of interest.

Many more people are looking for home businesses as a way to be able to work at or from home. This isn't a new idea, but it has become much easier recently. Setting up a home business is a piece of cake but generating a living doing so isn't quite so easy.

One of the many things you must consider before you get started and the most important one is the kind of business you want to run. This is the most important decision you can make in determining your success.

The internet offers many ideas for starting a home business. Let's take a look at some other ideas that do not involve the internet that you could do.

1. Sell Stuff on Craig's List

Craig's List offers a very unique alternative to eBay. By working the flea markets and garage sales, you can find unbelievable bargains that you can turn around and sell on Craig's List. Craig's List is free to advertise on and you can create a local market for the products you want to sell. You could sell everything from cars and furniture to sporting goods and Nintendo games.

You could even develop a different market by purchasing goods on Craig's List and then turning right around and reselling them with creative marketing techniques for a higher price. If you end up with a bunch of stuff that doesn't sell you can run your own garage sale. Of course you must keep track of what you paid so you can resell at a profit.

2. Start A Day Care Business

Starting a day care business may be a way to earn money at home. Rather than spending funds on day care for your family you can at least save that money while also making some more money at the same time. If you need to be licensed to operate a daycare facility out of your home, then do so. It can lead to a rewarding business that provides a much needed service for mothers who have to go to work every day

3. Drop By Pet Walking and Sitting

Do you like pets? Many people in their careers have to travel. Others go on vacations and cannot take their pets. Your business is to stop by and play with their pets. Take them for walks. Feed them and make sure they are o.k. Not all people like to take their pets to a kennel and are willing to pay good money to make sure they are cared for.

Their pets are another member of their family and you will take care of a big concern for them when they have to leave town.

So these are three ideas for businesses. With these suggestions, you can probably come up with others. This can be a lot of fun and lead to a great income if you like what you do.

Summary: If you are thinking about starting your own home based business then this article took a look at three possibilities you might not have known about. And might even spark more ideas.
